Session 16

Session Num: 16
Stakes: 400NL
Hands: 414
Net Win: $752

Concentration: 8/10 - decent enough, found myself auto opening IE etc tho
Preplay Prep: 8/10 - everything except exercise, but felt super clear headed
Avoiding RE: 10/10 -
Cbetting strategy: 10/10
Game selection: 10/10

Played decently enough, I certainly don't hate myself for any of the major pots I lost.

Hand 1: http://www.pokerhand.org/?4584513 - this one maybe a bit iffy given we're 4 way, but but my flop check gives me relative position to tempe who has to be betting all his overpairs there and probably any other piece of the board. Had another player then monkey'd on in I could get away, but not when they all fold + I have percieved redraw.

Hand 2: http://www.pokerhand.org/?4584524 - Villain was huge megfish who sat down and started 3betting every other hand.... I was trying to get his money before any1 else, safe in the knowledge that if I lost then he'd probably give most or all of it back at some point.

Which he did here.....

Hand 3: http://www.pokerhand.org/?4584529

Hand of the day

Hand 4: http://www.pokerhand.org/?4584530 - Villain was just a really bad reg, and on the turn I was really sure that he either had a terribly played AK or 72... plan was to fold to any JKA on river but call all else. Love the 72.

ps hand 4 you could argue was an RE spot, but with such a good idea of his range I don't mind it at all.

Hand 5: http://www.pokerhand.org/?4584547 - More 72 fun. Raising the turn is close, but I can't really stand a 3bet so I think it's fine.

I just started playing the $200 6max ftops, hoping to take in my new levels of concentration etc. I'm really determined to give it my best shot, so I'll post my bustout hand + any other big ones after I'm done. The plan, given it's superstacked, is to avoid RE situations, especially for large parts of my stack.... be patient (could be 3 hours before I double up, whatever just have to wait) and accumulate chips.

edit: 5 minutes later. well that didn't take long. http://www.pokerhand.org/?4584588P
