Session 14

Session Num: 14
Stakes: 400NL, 1000NL, 2000NL
Hands: 310
Net Win: $419

Concentration: 7/10 - tried, but probably failed to clear my hangover
Preplay Prep: 6/10 - hungover, not clever, tho eaten and drank was quite tired
Avoiding RE: 10/10 - tho the coralary is that I got bluff raised/ shown twice on the flop and turn
Cbetting strategy: 10/10
Game selection: 10/10

This session incorported a 10-20 shot when a massively losing fish sat down and I couldn't resist. Found that some of the HS guys were trying to abuse the fact they thought I was scared money and faced tons of 3betting, sqeezing, flop raises etc. They took it a little far though, and it eventually led to this:

UTG+1 I_ONLY_WIN ($5341.00)
CO F0XFORCEF1VE ($3970.00)
BTN HAI_THERE ($2895.00)
SB CANTONA27 ($810.00)
BB Hero ($4000.00)

Pre-flop: ($30, 6 players) Hero is BB

1 fold, I_ONLY_WIN raises to $70, F0XFORCEF1VE calls $70, 1 fold, CANTONA27 calls $60, Hero raises to $370, I_ONLY_WIN raises to $835, F0XFORCEF1VE folds, CANTONA27 folds, Hero raises to $4,000, I_ONLY_WIN folds

Final Pot: $4,975

Hero wins $4,975 ( won +$975 )
CANTONA27 lost -$70
I_ONLY_WIN lost -$835
F0XFORCEF1VE lost -$70

it's like, only a bluff 4bet of my sqz... but it netted me $1k. ace! guess that's HS for you. I ended up $400 in profit at 10-20, $400 down at 5-10 and $400 up at 2-4 (ish) for my net profit.

I did some stupid things, and lesson to take away today is not to make bluff raises etc without the proper time to consider it. This hand was a turbo table, and on the river I literally had 6 seconds to decide whether to shove... give me 10 seconds and I fold. Thus, when rushed I need to take the path of least variance.

So this session I'm about to play, preplay prep is going to be a 10. So, keep on top of concentration, being aware of villain's tendencies, and AVOIDING RE are the keys. Review to follow..........
