This hand was sick- I've made some K hi calls in the past, but they don't work when he's bluffing ace hi! The hand was pure timing tells, snap PF, snap on the flop and turn etc. I definitely don't hate it.

This hand is interesting.... villain is trying to perfectly rep trip jacks of course, and to be honest I don't completely hate it vs an unknown who you know can fold, and you know doesn't cbet 2nd pair on this flop. Against me though, who can't fold, and who does like to cbet 2nd pair for balance (and barrel it incidentally), I like it a lot less.

A key part of doing a regular hand review blog for me is that it helps me not to have any hands I'm ashamed of..... you know the type where you know you're beat but you're happy to increase variance 'cos you're stuck. So that's 2 sessions, and no such shame hands. Onto session 3 now (just eaten, drank etc).... same key points, and no hands that I'm not utterly proud of how I played them.
