Session 3 + 4
Hands: 350 + 204
Winnings: $1361 + $977
Timing: 6
Slight Tightening Up PF: 7
Avoiding RE: 8
Put regs in difficult spots OOP: 7
Concentration: 9
Played well both sessions, good concentration etc. Just been deep in an FTOPs, cashed for $1600 but was near chip lead with 70 left from 5000 and decided to call down with KQ hi over 3 streets. Just freaked out and screwed up basically.... musn't dwell though, I'm going to use this disappointment positively and play a top session now.
One piece of analysis from my cash game session is that I need to stop doing this:
$2/$4 Ante $0.75 No Limit Holdem • 5 Players
Generated by weaktight.com.
UTG | ChkRazed | $400 | |
CO | pschni | $224.05 | |
BTN | Hero | $1,330.05 | |
SB | WhoIsThisGuy | $400 | |
BB | martina65 | $380.25 | |
- Pre-Flop ($9.75, 5 players)Hero is BTN
2 folds, Hero raises to $12, 1 fold, martina65 calls $8
- Flop ($29.75, 2 players)
martina65 checks, Hero bets $22, martina65 raises to $52, Hero calls $30
- Turn ($133.75, 2 players)
martina65 bets $52, Hero raises to $130, martina65 calls $78
- River ($393.75, 2 players)
martina65 bets $185.50, Hero calls $185.50
- Final Pot: $764.75
- Hero shows
- martina65 shows
- martina65 wins $761.75 (net +$381.50)
- Hero lost $380.25
What am I doing in the above? I'm raise folding the turn, 'cos some players are just never shoving draws and so I get value from draws whilst losing the same vs value hands as I would calling turn and river. However, stacks have to be MUCH deeper for this, I basically keep forcing myself into a river call through poor planning.
Session 5 coming up.... just a short 45 minutes or so, just want to go to bed happy with myself instead of dwelling on ftops....
